What is National Leadership Development Day?

National Leadership Development Day began in 2019 as a “day of giving” by leadership development experts to give back to their communities.

Now entering its 6th year, NLDD’s featured expert speakers will be speaking on the topics of: the essential need of belongingness, embracing change, being authentic, busting through boundaries, and much more.

Be prepared to take a lot of notes as our speakers will be providing tips and techniques that you can put into practice immediately – either to develop your own leadership skills or the skills of those you lead.

Please note: this event will not be recorded, please block out your calendar now to attend!

Join us each year on the last Friday of July for free leadership development.

Every company has a mission statement most front-line employees don't know and can't say. The truth is, senior leadership is the face of the company for middle management, middle management is the face of the company for front-line, and front-line employees are the face of your company for the WORLD! This flow starts with every leader knowing, speaking, and living their vision for their team & "The Vision Factors", their expectations, and rules... and how to use "The 3" in the world's most canceled and rescheduled meetings across all organizations... The 1-on-1 meeting; allowing better communication, connection, and company culture!

Over the next five years, effective leaders will need to embrace the dawn of the technology age revolution by honing three pivotal skills as a leader: adaptability, refined problem-solving, and, most importantly, a deep-rooted emotional intelligence. AI is reshaping industries, empowering swift and precise analytical thinking in unprecedented ways. I am challenging leaders to cultivate your Emotional Intelligence - embrace self-awareness, self-regulation, candor, motivation, empathy, and finesse your interpersonal skills - to unlock unparalleled human effectiveness in your teams as we navigate this transformative era.

While many leaders understand the effect culture has on their team’s performance, very few understand how to actively manage it. In this session, you will be introduced to the Culture Web model and learn how it can help leaders improve team cohesion, collaboration, and trust.

Three Steps to Success without sacrifice so you can release the overdoing, stop beating yourself up and realize you are already enough.

The rapid pace of technological change, driven by the emergence of generative AI is transforming the nature of work. While AI can automate tasks and provide new tools, human skills like creativity, adaptability, and emotional intelligence remain essential for success. This shift requires a delicate balance between technology and human connection, where leaders must prioritize developing lifelong learning skills and supporting their people through the discomfort and stress of constant change.

Shifting Perspectives removes the mystery from the interplay of Belongingness, Trust, and Power within the workplace. This talk takes participants on a journey to discover how belongingness, trust, and power interact to create workplaces that flourish or flounder. We will focus on how these elements combine and then explore how they can lead to different outcomes, providing a shift in perspective on creating a thriving work environment for individual and organizational success.

We will leverage the power of networks and connections to generate energy and enthusiasm from our leadership efforts. We are faced with a loneliness epidemic and a connection crisis that impacts people at home, at work and in the community. Learn skills to empower your employees to bust silos, build connections, and supercharge relationships to drive employee engagement, innovation, and thriving.

The time has come to finally shed yesterday’s limited view of career development and find ways to enable the growth people and organizations need today. The good news is that beyond, between, and besides the climb up the corporate ladder, there are countless other ways that employees want to grow. This session focuses on an easy-to-apply, research-based multidimensional career framework.

In Arthritis, My Mentor, I will share my story about how arthritis helped me become a better leader by challenging me to change and adapt through a personal challenge, and through that challenge, inspire the people I worked with to change as well.
